The pipeline
From screenplay to finished film
Six stages, one workspace. Every stage is automated by AI and steerable by you, shown here on a real project: Swan Lake as an animated short.
01
Write or import your screenplay
- You do
- Type into the scene editor, or import Fountain, PDF, Word or plain text.
- Workestrum does
- Splits your script into scene cards you can edit, reorder, split and merge.
- You get
- A structured script that stays editable through the whole production.
02
Analyze: your production blueprint
- You do
- Click Analyze.
- Workestrum does
- Reads the whole screenplay, extracts cast, locations, sound, music and ambience cues, and decides how every cut carries over: continue, match or hard break.
- You get
- A complete production plan, editable and overridable anywhere.
03
Give your cast a locked identity
- You do
- Reference characters and places as @handles in any prompt.
- Workestrum does
- Expands each handle into that character's canonical description at generation time, for every shot.
- You get
- The same Odette in scene 2 and scene 32.
04
Generate storyboards and shots
- You do
- Generate scene by scene, or the whole film in one run.
- Workestrum does
- Writes a purpose-built cinematography prompt per scene, renders keyframes, then turns them into moving shots, chaining the previous scene's last frame when the action continues.
- You get
- A library of stills and clips organized by scene, with variants to choose from.
05
Review every scene
- You do
- Open any scene to compare variants, star the best one, and adjust camera, mood and character state.
- Workestrum does
- Tracks per-scene state (emotion, pose, environment) and regenerates only what you change.
- You get
- Scene-level control without redoing the whole film.
06
Cut and export
- You do
- Arrange, trim, split and crossfade on the multi-track timeline, then pick a format.
- Workestrum does
- Renders long timelines in bounded segments and assembles them losslessly.
- You get
- An MP4, MOV or WebM up to 4K, ready to publish or share.
